The Local Government has its headquarters located in Idu. It is bound in the East by Odukpani Local, Government Area in Cross River State, in the South by Okobo Local Government Area, in the West by Nsit Atai and Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Areas and in the North by Itu Local Government Area.
